Saturday Night Movies at the Station – we need your help to promote this
We are part way through our fundraising project, showing movies at the Station on Saturday nights. Attendance is growing slowly, but we really need to get the word out to get more folk to come along.
We are asking you to do two things to support this project:
- Tell people you know about the movies and encourage them to take their families along. Better still, invite them to come along with you. These evenings are a good night out for family fun. There is great food on sale so, all-in-all, it is an inexpensive way to take your family out for a treat. Details of movie showings can be found on the Living Way Facebook page.
- We want to distribute flyers in letterboxes around Wellsford next week [the first week of the school holidays]. Can you and your children please volunteer to deliver pamphlets around a few streets. If we all pitch in and do a bit, then no one will need to do a lot. Phone Nicola King 423 7797 to volunteer for an area.
School Reports and Accounts
Mid-year school reports will be finalised during the school holidays. We will send these out with end of term accounts, hopefully by the end of next week.
You may have noticed that while I was away on leave last month we omitted to send out stationery accounts for the month of May. PACE and stationery costs for May and June will be included in the accounts we are sending out next week.
We apologise for being late with these things, but we should be back on track with our processes next term.
Reminder: Public Meeting tomorrow: The Case for Christian Education,

Todd Roughton, Principal of Home Schooling NZ, will be conducting a public meeting this Friday.
We encourage you to promote this meeting to people you know who would benefit from hearing about Christian Education and why it is so vitally important for our children today.
